This is a story about a community of Indian people living illigally on the mountain that surround the city of Ceuta, the Spanish enclave in Moroccan territory.
The majority of these people come from the indian region of Punjab and they settled on the mountain two years ago. They all are waiting for crossing the Gibraltair Strait and reach the Iberic peninsula, but the Spanish government haven't yet provide them any residence permit nor political asylum, despite the fact that they live already in the Spanish territory for more than two years. This situation is very common among the thousand of illegal immigrants who are living in Ceuta at the moment.
I photographed these Indian men at their home on the mountain. I spended some days with them in order to depict their daily life at the camp. I was especially interested in describe their frustration and disillusion for the situation they are currently facing.
